Description:
45 True F-1 Braford heifers out of Brahman cows and Hereford Bulls. Pay weight on these cattle was 665 when we received them last year January 30th 2013! They were weighed right off of the cows on trucks at the end of the day with no creep. Since then they have had 5 lbs./day/hd of receiving chow, free choice hay on native and coastal pasture. We pen them horseback out of the pasture with just one colt every day and they have really gotten gentle! Slow and easy to drive and we put them down the chute every time. All calfhood vaccinated, cosmetically dehorned, and all respiratory shots have been administered. Superb quality. Lots of tigerstripes, chocolates, and a few red motts. These heifers have been turned out on rested native pasture and are being supplemented 1 & 1/2 lbs. of cottonseed cake per day.

All are bred to low birthweight Hereford bulls and there were 17 calves as of February 10, 2014.



Located on the Brinkoeter (pronounced "Bring-kay-dur")ranch near Pettus, Texas.
