She is 100% sound with no maintenance, no history of lameness or vices. She would also make an outstanding broodmare to pass these classic traits on to the next generation. Disposition & Ground Manners: Around the barn, Jackie is quiet-minded, level-headed, and completely straightforward with zero marish tendencies. She is an absolute gentleman for the farrier (stands like a rock even with noise and commotion). Clips with her head hanging loose out of the stall door—no halter needed. You can walk right into her stall with a wheelbarrow for stall cleaning, while she’s eating or resting, and she doesn’t care one bit. On hot Florida days, she’s even smart enough to walk right under the pasture sprinkler to cool off on her own. Under Saddle & Performance: She has a solid foundation training from a Clinton Anderson Certified Method Ambassador, making her respectful, easy to lead, and soft and giving. Jackie has been shown in Reining and Ranch Versatility. With her true reining foundation training she responds well off your seat and legs as you would expect. She has all the maneuvers- soft turnarounds, willingness to yield her head and neck, and a nice slide stop when you ask for it. Under saddle, Jackie is a talented performance horse, yet gentle enough for a wide variety of riders. As a below-the-knee amputee riding with a prosthetic, I have always felt completely confident working her. She is trained to line up for mounting anywhere—you can step onto any mounting block, wall, bench, or picnic table, give her a finger cue, and she will swing her hip right over to you and stand still until you’re mounted. She has also been had some experience working cattle, pushed cows around. (As one of her riders, being a retired roper, I feel this mare also makes a great heeling horse prospect). She hauls like a pro, handles busy show grounds calmly, and settles right into new stalls away from home without fuss. Jackie is an attractive, gentle, powerhouse-built mare ready to go to work with her next partner in the ring, or just riding around the ranch enjoying the day. Jackie will really be missed around the barn. She has recent set of clean x-rays available upon request. Jackie would be best suited for: • Reining • Ranch Trail • Ranch Reining • Ranch Pleasure • Ranch Riding • Ranch Conformation/ Halter • Ranch Versatility AVAILABLE ON ONLINE HORSE AUCTION AT = https://bid.horsebid.com/lots/view/4-NGJRJ3/jackieMare BIDDING OPEN NOW thru Monday | November 2nd...♦️ 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐍 𝓕𝓪𝓵𝓵 𝓒𝓵𝓪𝓼𝓼𝓲𝓬 ♦️ *Final price will be determined on auction site* PEDIGREE Sire: Dam: 39 visitors have viewed this ad
