Description:
Gunner is the kind of gelding that makes you appreciate just how nice it is to own a truly broke, gentle, and dependable horse. He is a really pretty 12 year old buckskin gelding standing 15 hands tall, and he has so much to offer someone looking for a horse they can genuinely enjoy. Gunner is very broke, very safe, and the kind you can saddle up and go without having to worry about making everything a big production. He has been ridden by beginners and would be a wonderful fit for someone learning to ride, kids wanting a dependable horse, or anyone who simply wants a good gelding to have fun with. It is hard to beat a horse that is gentle enough to help someone gain confidence while still being enjoyable for a more experienced rider. Gunner enjoys attention and has the kind of sweet, dependable personality that makes him easy to appreciate.

Under saddle, Gunner is straightforward and easy to get along with. He neck reins one handed and rides nicely on a loose rein, giving you the freedom to sit back, relax, and enjoy your time in the saddle. He trots and lopes nice circles, picks up both leads, and stops and backs up when asked. Gunner is point and go, making him a great choice for someone who wants a horse that is uncomplicated to ride and doesn’t require constant direction to get along. He stands quietly for mounting and dismounting, another quality that makes him especially nice for less experienced riders. Whether you want to ride around the arena, practice your basics, or simply enjoy a relaxed ride, Gunner is a dependable partner who makes things easy.

Take Gunner out of the arena, and he is just as reliable. He is happy to ride out alone or go along with a group, so you can enjoy a trail ride whether you have other riders with you or prefer to head out on your own. He crosses water easily and walks right over logs, taking new obstacles in stride. Gunner has been around traffic, dogs, and heavy equipment, giving him experience with many of the things you encounter when riding outside the arena. He has even been on camping trips, making him a great option for someone who wants to load up and take their horse somewhere new for a weekend of riding. Whether you enjoy quiet rides close to home, exploring new trails, or spending a few days camping with your horse, Gunner is ready to be part of the fun.

Gunner is just as nice to have around when you are not riding. He is comfortable living in a stall or out in the pasture and does well with either arrangement. He loads onto the trailer very well and hauls nicely to new places, making it easy to take him along on your next adventure. When it comes to the everyday handling, Gunner is easy to work with. You can tie him up and take your time saddling, bathing, and grooming him, and he stands quietly and enjoys the attention. From getting him ready for a ride to spending time with him after a long day, he is a pleasant horse to be around and handle.

Gunner has so many of the qualities people look for when searching for a safe, dependable horse. He is pretty, well broke, gentle, and versatile enough to suit a variety of riders and lifestyles. Whether you are looking for a horse to help you learn, a family horse everyone can enjoy, or a reliable trail partner to take on new adventures, Gunner has a lot to offer. He is the kind you can saddle up, point in the direction you want to go, and simply enjoy, and that is what makes a horse like him so special.
