Description:
This is a super moving colt, kind and gentle on the ground. I made the mistake of feeding him up too much with not enough riding. He spooked, got me off balance, which scared him and he bucked me off. He probably had 30 days on him before I bought him and then I put a dozen outside rides on him and he was perfect till the last day. I had a kid put ten days on him, he didn’t offer to buck, but I’m too old to take a chance. He is such a nice mover, he could long trot for miles and his lope is so smooth. Hes made correctly, nice big black feet. He’s going to mature into a big guy. I don’t beleive he’s a bronc but he does need some wet saddle pads. I bought him as a barrel prospect that I could ranch on. His sire is making a name for himself and his dam comes from a long line of the Dear quarter horses from the Birdtail Ranch.
