Description:
Oooh fancy fancy… Style, grace, and beauty, A Fancy Twister, aka Splash, is truly a gem, and at only a mere four years old, has many strong suits! This stunning, loud-colored, blue-eyed mare is one stout horse, strong of heart with a balanced, correct build, plenty of hip, and a strong front end. Quiet and gentle enough for novice riders, yet with her enticing, fun-loving swiftness, she is talented and skilled enough for professionals. She’ll perform in either Western or English attire, has a slow, comfortable jog, an excellent, graceful extended jog, and a lovely, smooth, flowing canter, and will ride on a loose rein or collected. She has many talents and can perform huge stops to fancy turnarounds, side-passes at a walk, trot, or canter, exhibits correct flying lead changes, and gracefully sails over jumps with ease. Out on the trail, Splash is sure-footed and will conquer any steep hill, large rock, or creek set before her. She navigates through gates with ease and will ride out solo or in a group. She has experience teaching younger horses to pony alongside another horse, as well as being ponied herself. She has been taken out on county roads and has absolutely no fear of traffic. The kids thoroughly enjoy whenever they are granted permission to try their riding skills on Splash, and with her kind, gentle eye, you can always expect Splash to take care of them. She stands patiently for grooming, baths, mounting, and the farrier, loads with no issue, and is quiet in the trailer. With her impeccable ground manners, versatile abilities, and levelheaded style, she is truly an easy keeper and is comfortable being pastured or stalled. She has no bad habits to correct and is the same dependable mare whether ridden daily or after an extensive period off. Oh, and did I mention that Splash ground-ties? Not for just five minutes, but for as long as you need her to. Why, I have sent her to the barn all by herself after a training session, and she’ll stand beside the tack room until somebody comes to untack her! Is that cool, or what? Her potential does not end in the arena or on the trail. Looking to add color and style to your herd? Splash could definitely produce fancy foals and would make an excellent broodmare prospect.

*Due to a very unfortunate injury, Splash’s left eye had to be removed in spring 2026. By that time, she was already advanced in her training and adapted exceptionally well to life with only one eye. While she has only one eye, it doesn’t affect her daily life or confidence in the slightest. Splash performs and navigates her world with ease and charm. Check out her video for proof!
