Description:
If you want a really fun horse to ride that is quick footed, catty and can really work a cow, then take a look at Dally. She has been shown in cutting and sorting, has been used as a turnback horse and has also been ridden on trails and used on the ranch. Dally is 14,3hh, 15 years old (GRADE) and very athletic. We do not have live cattle at the moment to show her on unfortunately but you can tell in the video that she can stop and turn back very quickly, and has had a ton of professional training. Dally has an excellent neck rein and a very smooth trot you could sit to all day long. She is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. She is gritty and tough, with a big motor if you need it. She will go up, over or through anything you point her at. Dally is very easy to catch out in the pasture, can be turned out with mares or geldings with no issues, and has excellent ground manners. She will ride out alone or with a group, and has been ridden down the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. Dally recently had her coggins, teeth and feet done. She has a scar on her left hip from getting hooked by a bull when she was younger, but it is purely cosmetic. Dally isn’t a kid horse and isn’t for everyone, as she is very quick and has a lot of buttons. She will get fresh if you stand her up, but couldn’t buck your grandma off. She is not an outlaw, just an athlete who does best when ridden regularly. For the right person not looking to spend a ton of money, she is a great deal. Asking $4000. Call for more information: Aubrey at 830-377-7236 or Wendy at 210-363-1883. Serious inquiries only, no tire kickers! Vet checks welcomed. Delivery anywhere in the US is available.
