Description:
Meet Smart Dusk Chic aka Cash is a gorgeous 2023 AQHA gelding. We’ve had the pleasure of having Cash in our barn since he was a yearling, he’s always been an easy keeper, does great stalled or turned out in the pasture but he does spend most of the time being turned out. He’s been super fun to start, not only does he have so much eye appeal he is just a very good minded and willing young horse with a willing and playful attitude.

One thing we love about this gelding is the effort and try he shows, he’s always willing to put his energy into the job you put him to and is eager to please his rider, he stays soft and responsive in the bridle and loves when he has a job to do. Take him and finish him in the direction you want, he’s safe, versatile, and friendly! He’s a great mover with good size, bone, and strength. Unfortunately we’re not ropers around here because I could see him thrive as a rope horse and he’s pretty cowy as well.

We’ve hauled Cash a lot in the past year whether it was trail rides, ranch shows, local fun shows, trips to the creek, or weekends of hanging out with friends and he’s taken everything in stride.

He’s a ton of fun in the arena, he knows his leads, and has solid maneuvers such as moving hindquarters, forequarters, side pass, half pass, and backup etc…

We’ve done a lot of trail riding with him, he does great going out alone or with a group, he likes to move along at a brisk walk and goes out like he’s on a mission.

Cash has been exposed to all kinds of obstacles, dragging things, traffic on the road and everything on the farm from equipment to cows and other animals, he’s also been our go to horse to move cows over the summer, he’s sure footed and manages very well riding over rocky terrain, hills, logs, fallen branches and through ditches and woods.

He’s a very easy traveler making it fun to haul him anywhere.

Feel free to reach out to Anne at 717-636-4768 with any questions or to schedule a time to meet Cash in person.

Pre purchase exams are welcome as well!
