Description:
Every once in a while, a horse comes along that reminds you why you fell in love with horses in the first place. Not because of fancy papers, a long list of accomplishments, or a price tag. But because of the way he makes you feel when you’re in the saddle. Moose is THAT horse.

Moose is a 12-year-old gelding standing 15.3 hands tall, and he is the kind of big, gorgeous, kindhearted gentleman that seems to get harder and harder to find. He has that quiet, gentle eye, a heart of gold, and an old-soul personality that you simply cannot put a price on. He’s the horse that takes care of his rider, forgives mistakes, and makes everyone who swings a leg over him feel like they belong in the saddle.

The best thing about Moose? You don’t have to be a cowboy to enjoy him, and you don’t have to be an experienced horseman to appreciate just how special he is.

Moose has spent years seeing the country from California all the way to Texas. From wide-open deserts to winding mountain trails, he’s covered the kind of miles that money simply cannot buy. He’ll quietly pick his way through rocky terrain, cross creeks, logs, bridges, and water, climb the hills, and take you wherever your heart desires. He’s equally comfortable riding through the middle of town with heavy traffic, noise, and commotion. He’s the kind you can drop your reins, sit back with a cold beverage, and enjoy the scenery without a worry in the world.

And if you think Moose is just another good trail horse, you’re in for a pleasant surprise!

This big gentleman is exceptionally well broke and an absolute pleasure in the arena. He carries himself low-headed and soft, has a beautiful, easy trot, and a smooth, comfortable lope. He has the kind of quiet, effortless way of going that makes him look like he belongs in a show pen. Moose has even spent time riding English, participating in lessons, working over ground poles, and popping over small jumps. Whether you prefer a Western saddle or an English saddle, Moose is happy to accommodate.

Need a horse to gather cattle? Moose has done that too! While he hasn’t spent his entire life making a living on a ranch, he’s been out gathering cattle numerous times and handled the job like an old hand. He’s willing, sensible, and always ready to do whatever is asked of him.

He’s located at our facility in Whitesboro, Texas. Give us a call to come see him in person and see just how amazing he truly is.
