Description:
If you’re looking for a young gelding with the mind, handle, and real-world experience to go on and make something special, take a look at Steve. Steve is out of an own son of High Roller Rey and has all the makings of a seriously nice horse. He’s been started in the heeling, has a great turnaround, a good start, and is already proving himself where it counts. This gelding has seen real ranch work. He’s been ridden in the high Uinta Mountains, one-man doctored cattle, dragged calves to the fire, sorted cattle, and will pull hard off the horn. He’s the kind you can actually go get a job done on. For only being 4, Steve has an exceptional mind. He’s safe, gentle, and easy to be around and has never offered to buck, kick, or rear. He stands quietly to be saddled, stands to be shod, loads easily, and travels well. Started in the heeling One-man doctored on Drags calves to the fire Sorts cattle Pulls hard from the horn Been through the high country Great turnaround Safe, gentle & willing Loads and hauls easily Stands to saddle & shoe Steve has already done more at 4 years old than a lot of horses twice his age. He’s handy, honest, good-minded, and has a whole lot of future ahead of him. Whether you want to keep ranching on him, take him to the roping pen, or finish him into your next really nice all-around gelding, Steve is the kind worth taking a serious look at.
