Description:
Sparkin Blue Frost

2017 AQHA Blue Roan Gelding | 14.3 HH

Frost is a rare combination of stout build, flashy color, athletic ability, elite training, and a genuinely good mind. He is the kind of horse that catches your eye in the pasture and wins your heart in the saddle!

Frost is truly as gentle as they come. He has a sweet, willing demeanor, a calm and confident attitude, and a genuine desire to please. Don’t let his impressive presence, athletic ability, or big stop intimidate you. Frost is laid-back, dependable, and suitable for riders of different experience levels.

He is built correctly with textbook Quarter Horse conformation and a stout, functional build. His striking blue roan coat, jet-black muzzle and legs, and flashy overall appearance make him a horse that stands out wherever he goes.

Frost is handy broke and rides the same way every time you throw a saddle on his back. He is a naturally pretty mover with good leads, a soft feel, and all the buttons. He has a great handle, a nice neck rein, smooth spins, side passes, snappy rollbacks, fancy turnarounds, and a HUGE stop.

Rather than simply being trail broke, Frost has a solid foundation in reining, including correct spins and sliding stops, along with practical cow-horse and ranch-work experience. Started as a cow horse, he has plenty of expression on cattle and the athletic ability to get the job done. He is quick and handy with his feet while remaining level-headed, willing, and responsive.

Frost has seen a lot of country, including woods, trails, cattle, water crossings, and large brush. He will lead or follow on the trail and confidently go wherever you steer him. He is comfortable in a variety of environments and accepts new challenges with a willing attitude.

He is the kind of horse you can ride consistently or let sit for a week and expect the same dependable, willing partner when you saddle him up. He has also been ridden bareback and bitless.

Whether you want to enjoy a quiet trail ride, work cattle, explore the country, or continue developing a talented performance show horse for team penning or ranch riding classes, Frost has the ability and disposition to do it all.

Additional Highlights:

*Easy to catch

*Cross-tie and wash-rack broke

*Great in a stall or turned out

*Dependable, consistent ride

*Confident and comfortable in varied environments

If you’re looking for a talented, handsome, and exceptionally kind gelding that can do more than just look pretty, Sparkin Blue Frost is worth a serious look.
