Description:
Role Description

This is a permanent full-time, on-site role for Cattle Crew (Cowboy) located on the TX ranches.



Qualifications

Experience

• 5 years in cattle husbandry, rotational grazing and holistic management experience considered

• 1-2 years with yearlings

Skills

• Doctor yearlings

• Process Cattle

• Feed cubes, hay, and mineral

• Rotate cattle on a planned high density grazing program

• Run yearling herds across multiple places

• Proficiency including but not limited to the following areas; Ag equipment operation (tractors, plows, seed drills, bobcats, UTV/ATV), truck and gooseneck trailer up to 26K GVWR, heavy equipment considered but not required



• License – Valid Driver’s License required, meeting requirements to apply for CDL or current CDL license will be considered

• Physical Requirements - Capable of working outside in Texas summer conditions in agriculture situations



Compensation

• Competitive Pay

• Yearly bonus

• Side of beef per year

• Housing available or $200/week housing allowance

• $500/month insurance stipend

• $100/month stipend for any personal horses used in the business, up to 4

• Work truck and trailer provided

• Cell phone stipend of $45/month
