ON CONSIGNMENT NICE 8 YEAR OLD SORREL MARE



I am helping a very dear friend of mine sell this mare. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE POST BEFORE MESSAGING. No tire kickers, please. I will NOT respond to comments. If you are genuinely interested, YOU message me or call/text 505-358-8709.

This is a 8 year old sorrel mare who is super sweet and has been with me for the past 60 days getting tuned up. In that time, she has not given me one issue.

She:

✔️ Walks, trots & lopes

✔️ Stops and backs

✔️ Turns both ways

✔️ Rides off leg pressure

✔️ Is learning neck reining just needs a little more help

✔️ Has a nice stop and WANTS to stop

✔️ Shows an interest in working a cow

✔️ Has been tracked on with a breakaway rope at a slow pace

✔️ Has been around the barrel pattern and seemed to have some knowledge of it, but will need a lot more work



This mare has the potential to go do just about anything with the right person and continued training.

On the ground,



she is easy to handle and stands to:

✔️ Be saddled

✔️ Be bridled

✔️ Be mounted

✔️ Be bathed

✔️ Be fly sprayed

✔️ Be brushed all over

✔️ Be tied she stands very well

✔️ The farrier she does have a club foot, but it does not affect her at all.



When turned out with other horses, she definitely considers herself the “boss mare.”



She had a bad experience with trailer loading but rehab was started and she has made tremendous progress. We will discuss further details with serious buyers.
