"Rankish is a standout 6-year-old gelding by Hottish and the definition of a true all-around horse. He is a trained cow horse with a ton of natural ability, feel, and athleticism. He is extremely quick-footed, soft and responsive, takes both leads, has fast, classy spins, a big sliding stop, and an exceptionally cool move on a cow. He stays broke and trained with time off and is the kind of horse that is always ready to go do a job.



Rankish has been used extensively outside and has seen a tremendous amount of real-world ranch work. He has been used branding, doctoring cattle, sorting pairs, gathering, and handling just about every job that comes with working cattle horseback. I have personally owned him for the past three years and have done about everything you can do on one horseback. He has seen a lot of country, been put in plenty of different situations, and has the experience and confidence that only comes from being used.



He has also been started in the calf roping and on the heel side, where his quick feet, cow sense, speed, and big stop make him an exciting prospect. He is naturally cowy, wants to work, and has the athletic ability to continue progressing in the roping pen.
