Beau is a striking 9-year-old, 15.3-hand buckskin gelding with the size, experience, and dependable mindset you want in a good ranch horse. He has been used on a working ranch and has plenty of real-world miles under his belt. He knows what a day’s work is all about and has the experience to step into a job and get it done.

Beau has been around cattle and is comfortable working in and around livestock. He has been exposed to the everyday sights, sounds, and activity that come along with ranch life, including tractors, farm machinery, vehicles, trailers, and all kinds of equipment. Cars and equipment don’t bother him, and he stays sensible and level-headed when there is activity going on around him.

He is also accustomed to being around other animals and gets along especially well with the donkeys on the ranch—they’ve become pretty good buddies. Beau is easygoing in that environment and is comfortable with livestock and other animals moving around him.

Beau has spent plenty of time riding outside and covering country. He is comfortable being ridden out where there is a job to do and has the confidence that comes from having real miles rather than spending his life riding circles in an arena.
