Description:
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and very knowledgeable Trail Guide to join our team!

If you are passionate about working with horses, enjoy the outdoors, and care about creating memorable experiences for guests, this could be a great opportunity for you! Requirements: dependable, responsible, self-motivator, team player and comfortable working in a customer service industry.



Job Duties Include:

Guiding trail rides with groups that vary in size from small to large

Assisting guests with mounting and dismounting horses

Giving guests safety instructions and riding demonstrations before each ride

Pairing riders with appropriate horses best suited for their skill set

Helping care for and prepare horses for trail rides

Saddling and unsaddling horses

Checking horses wellbeing and all equipment before and after rides

Keeping the barn and work areas clean and organized

Providing a friendly and welcoming experience for guests

Helping with other general ranch and horse-related duties as needed like feeding, watering, maintaining etc.





Requirements:

Extensive equine experience is required

Must have reliable transportation and cellphone service - able to communicate sufficiently via text message

Must be dependable, responsible, and great with people

Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions and lifting heavy objects.

No personal dogs allowed at the ranch.

Up to (1) personal horse permitted to be stables at the ranch. Certain conditions apply.
