Description:
Meet Alfredo... a unique, big boned, strong and shapey Haflinger gelding that is literally as wide as he is tall. He is not just any Haflinger but a REGISTERED Haflinger in the American Haflinger Registry (AHR). Alfredo has spent time in the arena gaining a great foundation. He moves off leg pressure, soft in the face, takes both leads and is starting to pivot nicely. We have played around with him in the arena pen roping some calves as well as pushing cattle up the return ally when we rope. Alfredo loves cattle and is always willing no matter what you ask of him. He has been used to cary a variety of different riders down the trails going across rocks, logs, ditches, water and any obstacle that may be presented on the trail. Alfredo is gentle, quiet and confident through every task he completes no matter if it’s in the arena or outside on the trails or in the pasture. His training doesn’t just stop in the saddle, Alfredo has also been lightly started driving and has shown lots of promise to make a fancy driving horse as well! Alfredo is good in a stall or turned out in the pasture with other horses. If you are looking for your next trail companion or everyday using kind of horse Alfredo is your guy.
