He is a good looking gelding with a great cow horse pedigree and is a nice all around ranch and trail horse. Boone has been used on the ranch working cattle, roping and doctoring in the pasture, and has also done some roping in the arena. He has a good one hand neck rein and all the proper buttons you want on one. He moves nicely off your legs, side passes, and makes opening and closing gates easy. He is also trained to make mounting easy. Lead him up to a step, fence, or mounting block, simply smooch to him, and he will sidestep over and put himself in position for you to get on. Boone has a very low key personality and is quiet and easy to be around. He has never offered to buck or pull back and has no bad habits. He has seen lots of different country and terrain and is not spooky about things along the way. He crosses ditches, sloughs, and big water crossings with confidence. He is very enjoyable to ride and is a steady, easy going gelding that most riders should get along well with.
