Trashin In Cashmere (Hank)

2023 double registered AQHA/APHA, 15.1hh bay gelding. By Gunners Trashman (Colonels Smoking Gun/Trashadeous) out of Guns N Cashmere.

Hank has been with us since he was 10 months old and has been started and trained by us. He has always been the one that you pull out if you want a fun enjoyable ride. He has that quiet nature that you cannot teach.

He’s the first to meet you at the gate in the morning with a friendly golden retriever personality.

In the arena his reining breeding makes him so easy and fun, making him an awesome prospect for reining, ranch or even roping.

He has smooth easy gaits, is responsive to your legs and seat, and has easy transitions He’ll lope around nicely no matter who’s on his back. Extended trot, slow trot, stop, spin, sidepass, picks up both leads, transitions up or down smoothly. He’s soft in the bridle and responsive to his riders cues.

Hank will go western, english or bareback, he’s just happy to be included.

He will trot over ground poles and take a small jump. He has not been pushed with jumping, only jumped a few times with him being young. He seems to enjoy it and looks quite classy in English tack.

On the trails Hank is a solid guy, he’ll go where you point him and he trusts his rider. He’ll cross water, logs, bridges, rough terrain, and move balanced up and down hills. He’ll lead or follow, he has a slower walk but still walks with purpose. We have swung a rope off him, tracked the dummy, pulled a tire, crossed obstacles and tarps. He is not spooky and takes to new things well.

Hank also knows a few tricks, he’ll sit down on a bean bag, hay bales or a pile of bedding. He knows how to pick you up at the mounting block or whatever you find to stand on.

He is not the type of horse that needs to be ridden 5 days a week, he is consistent and calm.

At 3 years old Hank has been used for lessons and he’s used to kids climbing all over him.

He is used to all the farm equipment and animals on our busy family farm; tractors, mowers, dirt bikes, dogs, cats, cows, chickens, etc.

Hank stands in cross ties, tied or ground ties.

He stands to be groomed, tacked, bathed, braided, for the farrier, etc.

He is currently living happily with mixed herd, he is so kind with other horses.

He has good solid feet, currently has shoes on all 4 but he does well barefoot as well.

Up to date on deworming, dentist, farrier, and has a current coggins.

He sells sound and healthy.

PPEs are welcome at buyers expense.

We can help with shipping anywhere in the states.

Registration is all in my name and a transfer will be signed and sent to the buyer.
