Description:
Seeking work on a cow/calf outfit, available to start October 1. Open to FT, PT, temp, or seasonal work. Not a cowboy and not trying to be...but love a challenge and got a passion for working with cattle, physical labor, contributing to a team, and living a quiet, rural life. Happy to do most any kind of work as long as I’m learning, expanding my skill set, and helping wherever possible. Got no problem taking orders, following directions, proving my capabilities, working hard, and going the distance for my boss as long as the respect is mutual.



Prior experience includes:

general cattle work, gather/roundup (horseback, ATV, on foot), assist with feeding, salt/mineral/water, assist with doctoring, AI, cold weather calving/night calving, branding, haying, fence repair, clearing brush, breaking ice, cutting wood, maintaining grounds, cleaning trailers, some irrigation work, ditch prep, tractor work, dirt work, some work with show cattle (rinsing, halter break, etc...), and other related tasks.



I came to ranch work later in life and got a lot to learn - overall still pretty new to this but willing to make sacrifices and adjust my wage if it means the opportunity to participate in ag production, develop horsemanship, and work with great people. Honest, reliable, intelligent, disciplined, punctual, over-achiever mindset, tenacious, loyal.



Can easily relocate in Central/Western US.
