Description:
We are a family operated ranch seeking a full-time cowboy to manage our 300+ cow calf operation in central North Dakota. We are seeking a self-motivated, responsible, knowledgeable employee to care for the cattle. Responsibilities would be the following:

Make hay

haul hay with semi (no cdl needed)

Winter feeding

Calving March- May in cold weather

Weaning

Vaccinations, branding,

Fix & build fence & corrals

Doctor& sort pairs

Maintain equipment, repair to tractors/baler/ haybine etc,

Welding,

Maintain water lines and water tanks.



Cows are managed primarily on horseback with some UTV usage. Most summer in beautiful/rough country along the river breaks. Someone handy on a horse is a must and a handy dog is a plus.



Pay is DOE

Horse boarding available

Possible room and board

Clean record
