Description:
"Huckleberry" 16 yr. old Red Roan Quarter Horse Gelding. Huckleberry has quite the resume: college ranch horse versatility, hauled to elk camp, kids play days, worked in the feedlot, ranched on, drag calves to the fire, doctor yearlings in pasture, county fair parade, and hauled to town for inexperienced kids to ride. He is easy to catch, trim, saddle, and load in the trailer. Sweet mannered and forgiving with inexperienced riders. The type that can sit for 6 months, hop on and he’ll be the same horse every time. Was my wife’s main mount at the ranch while she was 8 months pregnant. Some maintenance required,and is looking for a home as a trail parter where he isn’t used on long hard days.
