Description:
"Poncho" is the perfect ranch pony for your little cowboy or cowgirl! If you don’t like ponies--then he’s the guy for you! He has ZERO pony sass or attitude. He acts like a big horse. Does not bite, kick, or get sour. My 12 yr old son has spent hours on him & has got him riding really nice. "Poncho" has been ridden in the arena, down the canal roads, up in the foothills & the sawtooth mountains. He does not tire out or get lazy. He is not a "hot" pony but he also is not an old-deadhead babysitter pony. He crosses water, bridges, logs, & lopes a nice circle in the arena. He has also been roped off of-- my son enjoys roping goats off of him. "Poncho" is easy to catch, stands tied, & is great to load & haul. He gets along with all of our big horses. He is completely sound & has rock hard black hooves. He has been vet verified at 13 years old. "Poncho" loves my boy & kids but is still a little timid around adults. He is not mean whatsoever. "Poncho" would be perfect for a confident little kid who wants to ride! We do not want to see him be a pasture pet. He is far too nice of a pony for that. This is a really good pony with a fantastic temperament. We are located in Homedale, Idaho, 45 minutes west of Boise. We are happy to help assist with setting up transport if needed.
