Description:
“Cat” is a 10 year old mare that we have used for the past 5 years for ranching, jr high rodeo, and lessons. She is as easy going as a horse can be and was the one we went to for confidence in teaching our kids to rope. We bought her as a heel horse but she proved to be so much more. She is easy to haul, shoe, and be around. She doesn’t spook at anything and has been hauled all over to both indoor and outdoor arenas. This summer she even made the trip to Guthrie, Oklahoma to compete and the JH Nationals rodeo where her and my son finished 8th in the world goat tying. We have used her for heading, heeling, breakaway, goat tying, and tie down roping. She is wonderful on the ranch and is often the horse we put green kids on that want a shot in the branding pen. She was forgiving to my son when he was learning to team rope, even when he managed to get wrapped up with a steer. I have years of photos and videos available. We do not want to sell her but have to replace my daughter’s barrel horse. She is a gem and deserves another loving home. Her price reflects the confidence you can have to put anyone on her.
