My name is Lukas, and I am seeking housing on a farm/ranch near Laramie, WY while I go to school for the next two years at WYO Tech for Heavy Diesel Mechanics and Welding starting Oct 1st, 2026. Availability to start work would be anytime before then.



I am 27 years old and offer extensive farming and cattle experience, as I grew up on a farm in southern Minnesota. My family has about 700 head of beef cattle and acreage, and I actively help out when I am not working FT as a welder/fabricator. In my free time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, biking, fixing cars, skiing, and cooking. I am willing to work FT/PT in trade for somewhere to live and preferably a small stipend for meals and living expenses (negotiable). I will be attending classes 8 hours a day, so availability would be in the early mornings, afternoons, and weekends. Classes are 9 month periods, so I would be available FT during the summer.



Experience includes: fencing install and repair, skid steer/front loader operation, welding repair and fabrication, sorting, loading and unloading cattle, numerous JD tractor operation including powershift, hydrostatic, and collar shift transmissions, loading and unloading haylage and earlage, small square and large round bale experience, lawn care, landscaping and snow removal.



If you or anyone you know needs some help and has an extra room, do not be afraid to let me know! Whether it’s a small job like mowing the lawn or a larger cattle operatio,n I would be interested. Multiple work/landlord references available upon request.
