My family and I are looking for a long term position in the general Southern Oregon area. I have spent the past ten years working on a large cattle operation, and while I have appreciated the opportunities and experience I’ve gained, I am looking for a change of scenery and a place where I can continue building a long-term career in the cattle industry. Ranching is more than just a job to me—it’s the life I know and enjoy. I take pride in working hard, doing things the right way, and being someone my employer and coworkers can depend on. I have earned excellent references throughout my career and have built a reputation for being reliable, honest, and willing to do whatever needs to be done. My experience includes all aspects of cattle production and care, horse handling, flood irrigation, and operating, maintaining, and repairing ranch equipment, including trucks, tractors, ATVs, and other machinery. In addition, I have extensive experience with fence repair, welding, carpentry, plumbing, painting, landscaping, and general ranch maintenance. I have also led crews and understand the importance of teamwork, communication, and setting a strong example through hard work. Outside of work, I have been married for thirteen years and am the father of four children. Providing for my family is my greatest responsibility and motivation. I maintain a clean driving record, do not smoke or drink, and believe in showing up every day ready to work with integrity and a positive attitude. Outside of work my wife and I enjoy being with our kids, caring for our two ranch horses, going on adventures with our ranch dogs, and enjoying our small flock of ornamental chickens, so the ranching lifestyle extends well beyond my work. I am looking for more than just another job—I am looking for a ranch where I can make a meaningful contribution for many years to come. I am always willing to learn better ways of doing things and adapt to the methods that make your operation successful.
