Meet Lyric, our beautiful buckskin pony who has become a family favorite! His name fits him perfectly — just like a lyric in a great song, he’s smooth, easy, and leaves a lasting impression on everyone who meets him.

Lyric is the kind of pony every kid dreams about — safe, kind, and an incredible teacher and confidence builder for riders of any level. Standing at perfect height of 12 hands with great bone and balance, he’s built to last not to mention absolutely beautiful.

Lyric is a beautiful mover with a smooth jog and an easy, comfortable canter that makes him enjoyable for beginners while still being fun for more confident riders. He has a soft light neck rein, he side passes both directions and has cute slow spins just like dads best big horse and a perfect stop and reverse!

Lyrics best quality is how honest and forgiving he is, we have put so many beginner and new riders on lyric and he has tolerated and taught them all. There is absolutely no test that you can put him through that he has not seen our kids have done everything under the sun on lyric.

Saylor has used lyric for everything on the ranch, we have hauled him to all kinds of play days, shows, and Jr rodeos I promise you he has seen it all. Saylor has even rode Lyric English, taught him to curbside mount, Sit and lay down. He’s spent hours upon hours roping the sled for all three of our little ones.. They have even roped some slower calves on him, he tracks cattle great and stays quiet giving them every opportunity to catch. Lyric handles new situations with a calm attitude and is very willing to go wherever he’s asked — that’s probably why he finds himself on so many adventures with the kids! He just never tells them no!

Lyric has the most perfect manners I’ve ever seen on a pony or a horse. He is respectful on the ground, never pushy, and very mindful of little riders. Kids can brush him, saddle him, bathe him, and lead him around with confidence. He stands tied like a solid citizen, never pawing never nickering. Any of our little ones can catch him easily, slip a halter on, and he’ll happily follow them wherever they go.

Lyric has the personality, patience, and training that make him a true once-in-a-lifetime pony. If you’re looking for a safe, dependable pony that will build confidence and teach your child the right way, Lyric is your guy.
