Description:
Topsail Mossy Oak is a 2015 AQHA Blue Roan mare. She is known around our barn as "Oakley". She is a tried-and-true ranch horse, seasoned trail horse and an all-around great partner. Oakley saddles up the same every time and handles time off great. She has seen countless of trail miles and is rock solid. She has encountered lots of wildlife and nothing seems to get her worked up. She will go up and down steep hills, through thick brush and crosses water. Oakley walks down the trail with a smooth steady walk on a loose rein and makes the ride enjoyable. We have used her here on our ranch to gather cattle, sort in the pens and drive them down the alley to be worked, penned and loaded on the trailer. She can open and close any gate with either hand very easily. Oakley is a very calm mare that has a very kind demeanor and personality that is desirable. She is good to bath and shoe. Oakley loads right up in the trailer and will stand tied without issues. She is great with all the trail obstacles, our kids, dogs, equipment and ruckus that comes with our day to day lives.
