The best way to describe him is COOL! He is fancy all over and so unique. We call him "Popeye". He trail rides the absolute best and will go anywhere you point him. Up or down steep hills, through the thick brush not a problem for Popeye. He crosses all the trail obstacles with ease including the bridge, teeter totter and water. Popeye stands 14.1h and very thick made; making him very easy to get on and off of. He will suit any level of rider; He is ever so gentle and easy going. Popeye is easy to catch, stands tied and loads in and out of the trailer with ease. We have used him on the ranch. Popeye will gather the cattle, sort the pens and will run about any gate on the place. He is very handy to use and fun to ride. Popeye will fit the entire family. He saddles up the same way every time you saddle him, and he doesn’t require regular riding to stay the way he is. Popeye is also a heel horse. He is solid in the box, runs to his spot, makes the corner every time and has a great stop. He is user friendly to heel on and would fit a youth, novice or woman. We can’t say enough about this 9-year-old Registered gelding. Popeye is one you can pull out to get a job done on the ranch, go on a relaxing trail ride or go rope a few steers on and he makes it fun and enjoyable every time. Popeye is located in Graham, Texas.
