Meet Yellowstone! Yellowstone is 10 years old, and stands 15.2hh. He is an absolutely GORGEOUS dun paint gelding. If you’re looking for something that has the looks, brains, and ability he is your guy. Yellowstone is the definition of a trail boss and goes anywhere you point him! He is as broke as they come and will ride english or western! He will neckrein, pivot, sidepass, leg yeild, and spin when asked. We’ve hauled him into town, to state parks, and have had him along the road! He is traffic safe, bicycle safe, kids running and screaming around safe and is ready for any level rider to take him down the trails. Does your grandma want to go along? He’s the guy for her! Do you want one you can trust your kids on? He’s the one! Do you want one your non horsey husband can ride? He’s perfect for the job! Yellowstone not only rides on trails perfectly but he will ride in the arena great too! We have carried flags on him, tarps, had him around several different obstacles that most would think are scary! He doesn’t mind anything! This guy also has amazing ground manners, he stands to tack up, bridle, bath, and stands to mount and dismount. He loads and hauls great, is mannerly with others in the pastures, and is great in a stall. He does not mind being in the front, middle or back of trail rides and goes whatever speed you ask! He will walk, trot, and lope right off when you ask but is happy to walk all day too! He’s not “quirky” and can sit with time off and ride back off the same as you left him! Why does he stand out from the others? Well there are many reasons but just to name a few: He is absolutely gorgeous, he is broke like every horse should be, he is safe for all levels of riders, and he’s QUIET, QUIET, QUIET!
