Dakota is a 5-year-old registered grullo Quarter Horse gelding standing 15.3 hands. He is a handsome, athletic gelding with a great mind, a willing attitude, and the kind of disposition that makes him a pleasure to own and ride.

Dakota is well broke and has been owned by our neighbor friends, where he has been used primarily as a trail horse for the past two years. He has seen countless miles of trails and is confident crossing creeks, navigating rough terrain, climbing hills, and handling obstacles with ease. He rides quietly alone or in a group and is comfortable leading, following, or riding in the middle of the pack.

In addition to trail riding, Dakota has experience working cattle, has been ridden in the arena, and has been exposed to a variety of trail obstacles. He has also been on overnight camping trips and hauls well, making him an excellent partner for weekend adventures or extended trail rides. He is accustomed to traffic, farm equipment, wildlife, dogs, and other common distractions, taking everything in stride with a calm, willing attitude.

Dakota stands tied quietly, loads and unloads easily, trailers well, bathes, clips, and is great for the farrier. He is easy to catch, has excellent ground manners, and is respectful to handle. He sells sound, healthy, and up to date on routine care.
