Hello! My name is Alyssa



I’m beginning my search for a winter opportunity in the southern U.S. and am available starting mid-October after finishing my current seasonal commitment as the manager for a hunting, packing, and trail ride outfit in Colorado.



I’m looking for either a seasonal position with the option to return each year or a long-term opportunity with the right fit.

I’m interested in positions involving:

● Wrangler

● Hunting or packing

● Trail guide

● Ranch hand

● Horse care and management

● Livestock and general animal care

● Guest ranch operations

● Property caretaking with livestock



I have years of hands-on experience working with horses in demanding environments and am comfortable with all aspects of day-to-day ranch life, including horse handling, saddling, packing, trail guiding, feeding, medicating, fencing, some equipment operation, back-country camping with clients, and whatever else needs to get done. I’m dependable, hardworking, and don’t mind long days.

I live full-time in my 40’ fifth wheel RV, so I would ideally need a place to park with hookups. I also have:

● 2 seasoned working geldings

● 1 well-behaved Jack Russell



I’m hoping to find a ranch or outfit in a southern state where winter weather is manageable for RV living.
