Description:
One good thing drought can do is provide some of the best oppurtunities! These heifers are being sold strictly due to drought conditions as the sellers work to lighten the pasture load. This is not a quality sort-off. They are coming out of a larger 3,000-head group, giving buyers a chance to secure a large set of cattle from a substantial program.



Bulls were turned in May 20 and will remain with the heifers until shipment. By the time they ship on July 10, the bulls will have been with them for over 50 days. They are selling as exposed heifers only, not guaranteed bred, but with that exposure window, there should be very few left to breed, the seller runs 1 bull for every 25 heifers.



The heifers have received pre-breeding vaccinations and pinkeye shots. They will ship July 10 as one group. The sellers do not have the facilities or corrals to split the cattle, so the group must be purchased and shipped together.
