Description:
We are currently seeking to fill a ranch position at our family-owned ranch located in McDermitt, NV, near the Oregon-Nevada border. Our operation is dedicated and hardworking, managing a herd of 1,200 cow-calf pairs, with ample opportunities for cowboying year-round. In addition, we put up meadow hay during the summer months and are looking for an individual who has experience operating farming equipment or is eager to learn.

If you possess a strong work ethic and a willingness to embrace a "do-it-all" attitude, you will thrive in our environment. We offer housing in a two-bedroom bunkhouse equipped with all necessary amenities. While having your own horses is GREAT, the ranch will provide several horses to ensure you can effectively carry out your responsibilities.

While owning your own horses is a plus if you do not the ranch will supply horses so you are able to do the work.

We prefer candidates who can shoe their own horses, though we are willing to provide training for those who need it. If you are willing to learn we are eager to teach. Our expansive ranch features stunning landscapes filled with sagebrush and rimrock, making it one of the most beautiful areas you’ll ever encounter.
