Diamante is a magnificent 8 year old Percheron/ Quarter Horse gelding standing a true 16 hands with a classy look, plenty of bone and substance. A perfect combination of athleticism. Has dabbled in the past in the dressage ring and shows unlimited potential to carry you through the levels having also dabbled in XC! If the show ring isn’t your scene, no worries! Diamante is perfectly content trail riding on a loose rein alone or in a group. He is sure-footed, honest and quiet over any terrain or obstacle. Despite his size, he is soft and easy to ride with 3 lovely gaits, a solid handle, and exceptional ground manners to boot! Diamante has helped gather, sort, and ship cattle, rope & doctor the sick, and relocate strays in the past and is capable in the future. He is no stranger to a hard days work and has seen all aspects of chores from opening and closing gates. Diamante is known nationwide as his adventures in the past have spanned from the rolling hills of Kentucky to the snow-capped mountains of northern Montana all the way back down to the coast of Texas and now to the beautiful rivers and mountains of New Mexico! He has seen the bright lights of the roping pen and the chaos of town and traffic, to pleasure riding along the Rio Grande River and Mountain tops in New Mexico.
