Position available on Southeastern Oregon ranch



Required Experience:

Cow/calf

Irrigation (Flood and pivot)

Heavy equipment (Tractor, backhoe, haying equipment)

Fencing



Willing to train certain things if needed but not a job for a complete beginner in any of above mentioned areas.



Significant skill in another area (CDL, welding, mechanics) is a huge positive.



Can be a very flexible position depending on abilities of applicant. Ranch operates in conjunction with another unit which may sometimes require travel. All of the above experiences are needed throughout the year in the whole operation and we can figure out what suits your abilities.



This position requires feeding in winter time, fence maintenance, operating heavy equipment, and everything you can think of that is needed throughout a year on a ranch in an area with 4 seasons.



The non-flexible parts of the position are honesty, work ethic, positive attitude, cleanliness, and attention to detail.



This is a somewhat remote job with a significant amount of autonomy so being an honest, motivated, self-starter is critical.



If you’re a person who’s more interested in building than managing, this could be a great fit.
