Description:
Greetings, my name is Owen. I am looking for livestock work in or near Burleson, or johnson county area. Will entertain reasonable commutes (~hour or less). I am a 22 year old Married man with a baby on the way in November. I am a full-time student taking online classes. I would prefer Full-time work but would entertain the right kind of part-time gig. Moved to Texas to chase the Cowboy dream. Looking for a job a little closer to Burleson. Would like to work with livestock as much as possible. I am happy to do fence, or hay, or muck stalls, but I do not want to have that be the only thing I ever do. I would like to continue to expand my toolkit and skill set and learn everything that I can. I am fairly green and learning all that I can. What I lack in experience, I make up for in tenacity.

Fixing/building fence (Barbed Wire/Electric)

Moving/sorting cattle on foot and four-wheeler

Giving shots/drench

Skid-steer

Drive Manual

Run chainsaw/clear brush

BQA certified

Texas A&M-New World Screwworm Preparedness and Response Education



Areas I need to improve:

Pulling trailers

Running larger tractors/implements

Spotting sickness/doctoring

Horsemanship (currently taking Lessons)
