Description:
Tug is 14-2 hands we’ve used him for trail riding for pleasure, with groups backcountry riding, dragging calves, working buffalo, gathering and trailing mother cows to summer pasture in the mountains, pairing out calves, wooling colts out, Tug has exceptionally hard feet, he has been shod but we ride him barefoot always in any terrain. good with his feet.

hauls great and gets along with our other colts and mature horses all geldings. he is good to catch, loves treats like apples, watermelon & must melon rinds. He leads well from another horse, we use decker pack saddles. He is a great lead horse in the backcountry he has never spooked and whirled or ran, if he is unsure of something he stops and looks at it, I tell him its okay and he goes on. Tug has had lots of different dogs around him when ridden out. He has never been cinch or never bucked or humped up with us. Tug is not for beginners or children.
