He is 5 years old with an excellent foundation, a good mind and a willing attitude. He is 14.3 hh and nicely built with a big hip, plenty of bone and a cute face. Rascal was started by a good cowboy and has been ridden out in the pasture as well as started riding in the pens. He rides quietly on a loose rein, travels out well in the pasture, and will cross water with no problem. Rascal wants to ride around the right way, with a good stop and the start of a nice turnaround. He is good on both leads, will sidepass and work a gate. He is easy to catch, good for the shoer, gets along with all other horses, stands quietly tied, and loads and hauls well. He has good ground manners and has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick, or take off with a rider. Rascal is sure footed and will go up, over or through anything you point him at, and crosses water with no problems. He is athletic and will make an exceptional performance horse, but also quiet enough to be a great trail horse as well. Rascal will ride out alone as well as with a group, will happily lead or follow, and has been ridden down the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. Asking $8500.
