Roping: Ground Room And Board: Needed Phone#: 656-263-6466 Description: My name is Joshua, I am a 24-year-old dependable Animal & Property Caretaker currently employed full-time at a 22 head, 15 acre horse barn in Florida. My responsibilities include, and are not limited to; daily feed, water, medication and supplement administration to horses, dogs and other animals, property maintenance, groundskeeping, equipment operation and whatever the boss needs done. I am seeking an opportunity to begin a long-term career in the cattle industry and continue developing my skills under experienced cattlemen and stockmen, with goals of forging myself into a well-rounded ranch hand by working and learning ALL ASPECTS of a working cattle operation, contributing through HARD WORK, RELIABILITY, and a STRONG WILLINGNESS TO LEARN. My primary interest is cattle ranching and stockmanship. I seek an opportunity to WORK, learn and contribute in ALL areas of a working cattle operation; livestock handling, fencing, equipment operation, pasture management, animal health, horsemanship, and all ranch responsibilities and duties that keep the operation running smoothly. I am BQA Cow-Calf certified and on days off I volunteer and assist with water trough filling and monitoring, fence inspection and wire tightening on a pasture. I am more than willing to start wherever I am needed, no duty or responsibility is below me. An operation and position of labor where I can WORK HARD, and earn additional responsibility through PERFORMANCE and RELIABILITY is strongly preferred. I am comfortable working long hours in all weather conditions and firmly understand livestock, my employers and ranch work require early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays. I take pride in being dependable, maintaining my strong work ethic, and completing tasks safely and thoroughly. Reliable, drug-free and committed to being the hand that livestock, my employers and coworkers can depend on. I am willing to relocate for the right opportunity, and seeking LONG-TERM position where I can continue to learn, grow and contribute.
