We take pride in raising quality beef, practicing strong land stewardship, and improving our operation for the next generation. We are looking for a long term dedicated, dependable, and hands-on person to join our team and help balance day-to-day ranching with seasonal farming. This would be a great family position, with the opportunity for a spouse to be compensated for their help during peak seasons and children to be involved when appropriate. Responsibilities: Cattle & Calving Duties: Monitor and assist with calving, including tagging, processing pairs: and AI synchronization protocols Feed, water, and manage the health and wellbeing of the cow/calf herd year-round. Identify sick or injuredd animals and assist with doctoring and vaccination protocols. Build, repair, and maintain fences and water systems. Move, sort, and trail cattle between pastures. 98% of cattle work done via ATVs. Very minimal horseback work in this position; except for during corral work in the spring. Farming & Equipment Duties: Operate tractors, grain carts, and farm trucks Assist with haying operations (mowing, raking, baling, and stacking). Perform routine maintenance and light repairs on farm machinery and ranch equipment. Assist with grain handling, hauling, and general crop-related field work. Qualifications: Experience in a cow/calf or beef operation. General knowledge of haying, and running implement. Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment. Must be comfortable working in the elements during the peak seasons (e.g., harsh weather, long hours). Valid driver’s license with a clean record; ability to operate a truck and livestock trailer. Pass a background check Housing: On-farm [seperate driveway and yard] 3-bedroom; 2 full bathroom home with utilities covered, including internet.
