We’ll be making the haul from northwest Colorado to northeast Oklahoma soon to stay with family until the right thing comes along. Ideally, we’d like to end up in Oklahoma or nearby so we can be closer than a 14 hour drive home, but we’re open to most places for the right fit. We’re a hardworking married couple seeking a long-term opportunity. We bring hands-on ranch experience, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for the western lifestyle. We’re committed to the livestock under our care and take pride in healthy, happy stock. Experience includes: * Branding * Calving * Feeding cattle and horses * Riding pens * Excellent horsemanship * Colt starting * Roping and doctoring * Processing * Fencing, maintenance, and general ranch upkeep * Equipment operation * Welding * Flood Irrigation *Some haying We are looking for a ranch where we can become long-term, valued members of the operation. Open to positions that just one or both of us and that include housing or possibly a camper hookup. Since we were planning on being at our current place for a few more years, we do have a herd of four horses as well as two well-behaved dogs and two cats. All are working horses, however one is a stud and two are bred. We know this isn’t ideal for most operations, so we would definitely explore our options for the right place. We’d like to reiterate that we’re looking for something where we can become like part of the family and grow with the operation. We’re good, honest people who know that we bring valuable qualities and experiences to the table.
