I have owned Quince for the last 6 years, and he is the definition of a “do-it-all” gelding. He is a finished head horse that has been hauled extensively and proven himself at the World Series level. He is built for a higher-number roper—he’s got a big motor, a physical face, scores like a rock, and has plenty of run. Quince is also good to heel on.

Quince isn’t a “pet”—he’s a working athlete. He has been ranched on his entire life and is truly “dirty broke.” He can operate a ranch on his own four feet, turns around both ways, reads a cow with ease, and packs a bridle like a professional. Because he is a gritty, tough-minded horse, he fits an experienced rider who appreciates a mount that isn’t “in your pocket” but is ready to work when you are.
