Description:
These are a hand Forged (DOUBLE MOUNTED) set of Spanish Colonial Era spurs! They were made between 1775 to 1825. They were called "Sandal Spurs". They were actually worn on leather sandals! They are 100% handmade, the shanks are riveted to the heel bands with three rivets, the 3"rowels have twenty points and are hand filed. The spurs measure 3" across where they slide onto a boot. They are very well made and heavy duty. No breaks or repairs on the spurs. The spurs are in extremely good condition, for being 200 to 250 years old ! NOTE: The last photo is a photo of an actual Sandal Spur in a Museum in Mexico City. NOTE:I accept only PayPal as my method of payment!
