Description:
We are a ranching family, since 1881, in the Sandhills of Nebraska where the water is abundant and the meadows are beautiful. The current opening we have within our diverse operation is for a married couple or a married couple with children. The house and buildings sit on a part of the ranch by itself where the job requires management of part of the cow/calf herd, property/building management, equipment maintenance and of course haying. We have spring fed meadows on the ranch where we put up one hay crop a year.



We are looking for a couple or family that has long term experience with calving, haying, pasture management and can take initiative in day to day tasks of management. And who can work also well with owners and other employees. Please note, we are not interested in teaching someone how to ranch. Experience is non-negotiable.



This job provides housing, utilities paid, health insurance paid(if qualified), beef, work vehicles, and an opportunity to run cows. Housing available is a 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom home that is older but has had remodel updates including a new furnace, central AC and a new dishwasher.

On this property also sits a shop, barn/shed, a newer calving barn, cake bin, and corrals.
