I am a 35 yr old with a wife and 4 children from 10 down to 6 mo old. I am looking for a job running/ managing a ranch with the option of buying it later. I am not looking for a hand out I just know that the way things are these days it is very hard to make it all work unless you grew up with your dad owning a ranch or you receive some kind of help. Our dream is to raise our family on a ranch and all be involved in taking care of it. I worked for a ranch in Colorado from the age of 15 till I was 31 (i can get you a referral if you want) Then we realized we could never afford a place in that area. So we bought some land in OK and moved our cows and horses hoping to start here. We soon realized that we missed the western way of ranching and the country. I love cowboying and realize that there are better paying jobs but none that I enjoy as much as I do working cattle. I have experience in training horses,shoeing horses,preg checking,AIing,Haying,and I do have my CDL and I am willing to learn new things also. We have been looking in Montana,Wyoming,maybe Idaho
