We are Darby and Mckay Justus; owners of Justus Ranch Horses and Cattle LLC. We live in the desert of Southern Eastern Oregon. In the last five years we have successfully purchased our first ranch property, grown our personal cow herd with no debt, expanded our training facilities for our ranch horse program, and invested in our personal equine breeding program also debt free, with our first crop of foals expected Spring of 2029. We are self-driven individuals who take pride in our ability to steward cattle, horses and the land to its most prosperous state. At this point in our business, we are ready to expand our cow/calf herd. Our near future goals include: -Securing lease ground or additional grazing opportunities -Building long-term sustainability and profitability -Creating a path toward eventually operating a larger independent ranching business Before we look into financing options, we wanted to come here to offer an opportunity for any: Landowner Absentee cattle owner Retiring rancher Investor Larger cattle operator an opportunity to have a caretaker/ share-crop partnership. We want this opportunity to be as plentiful for the lessor as it would be for us. Amongst our offer, we are looking for a 40%(Us)-60%(Leasor) option that would include us being responsible for and taking care of: All cattle operations labor Vet maintenance labor Calving Pasture rotations Feeding Doctoring Shipping Processing Property maintenance labor Fencing Crop management Pest Control Some mechanical maintenance (where equitable) And the lessor would be responsible for supplying: -Vet expenses -Heavy Equipment and fuel (NOT for regular vehicles/pickups and ATV/SxS) -Materials for property maintenance -Any seeds, fertilizer, or other crop products -Majorty cattle/land for running cattle OR investor funds We understand there are numerous moving parts to an offer like this and further discussion would be necessary.
