Penny is a 2021 model mare that was born and raised right here on our ranch. Her proven lineage is something we are very proud of, and we are fortunate to still have multiple siblings of hers. She is easy to catch (especially with a treat in hand!) and will greet you with a happy, curious personality every time.

Penny is eager to please and versatile in every sense. Whether you need her to sort in the feedlot, chase down cattle, or enjoy a calm trail ride, she is ready to be your partner. She is a gentle giant with a young and powerful body. She has proven to be an outstanding worker as she has spent countless days working from sunup to sundown, trotting through mountain country and showing what a true ranch horse can do.

Penny has seen it all. She’s experienced brandings, feedlot work, bogged pastures, mountain terrain, and even several ranch rodeos. Penny is quick to learn and highly trainable, she thrives on challenges and enjoys every task she’s given. She is easy to saddle and shoe, in any weather, and she has absolutely no bad habits or quirks.

It is incredibly hard for us to let her go; she’s been such a dear companion and part of our daily life. But we know that whoever is lucky enough to bring her into their herd and home will fall in love with her just as we have. She’s ready to give endless loyalty, hard work, and joy to her next family.
