Description:
Colfax is an old-school, big country ranch horse. He has a great motor and is plenty of horse for even the toughest days. His smooth long trot eats up the miles. He’s fun and easy to rope on outside, in a branding pen, or in town. When doctoring, just show him which one you want and drop your hand; he will get you there. Whatever you rope, he will pull it through a knothole. He’s good to sort on and doesn’t get antsy in the gate. Jackie enjoys using him to snub and flag colts for their first rides. When the pressure is on, he is all there. He’s sure footed and knows how to get around in steep country, deadfall, and thick timber. Colfax is gentle and has no buck, even with time off. He’ll meet you at the gate and is friendly and kind. He’s tolerant of dogs, kids, flags, and general chaos. If you like to have a lot of horse under you, we think you’ll really enjoy Colfax.
