Description:
We have two dogs that we need to rehome to a good family farm or ranch, Johnny and June Cash! Both are great with kids, both do not chase nor attack cows/horses, both really gentle, both fixed, both up-to-date on meds. Johnny, the Great Pyrenees, is about a year-old and is very protective of our family/property. June, the German Shepherd mix, is about 2 years old and is an avid rodent and pest hunter.

These dogs were dumped and we rescued them in September 2025. I would love to keep them, but unfortunately, our other two dogs, border collie/heeler mixes, keep attacking these guys (mostly when under stimulated and around us). Our herding cow dogs are the problem, not these two livestock guard dogs. With that said, they do get along 90% of the time, but the situation is still not ideal.

In order to make sure they go to a good home, I am willing to travel some distance to rehome them, provide a bag of dog food for each dog, and provide the rest of the years medication (flea, tick, heartworm chewable). The $100 can be negotiated, but was the ad minimum.

Please contact me for full backstory if interested. I would hope that both go to the same home since they’ve been together since they were puppies. Please share with any friends or families that may be looking for great livestock, guard and family dogs.
