Description:

We are a young ranching family looking for new opportunities.

Both my wife and I have grown up ranching and have been very involved in each of our family’s operations. We each have solid experience in cow calf operations and I (the husband) have a lot of experience in more of a diversified operation as well with farming and haying. We are wanting to work towards getting more established on our own now though. Ideally we would like to work towards getting our own place and would like to find an older rancher that was wanting to sell his place at some point to a family who would keep it in agriculture rather than just sell to wealthy investors.

I would consider working as an employee for an amount of time with plans to work towards buying the place or part of the place. I would also consider leasing a place, or managing a place, or even just working as a hired man where we could run some cows of our own for the time being. We really would be open to most anything as of right now.

We are interested in more than just a job as we would like something to show for the effort we put in and have a good place where we can raise our family. We would prefer to stay in the MT, WY, ID area but potentially would also consider elsewhere.

If this is something you might be interested in or know someone else who might be, you can call Joel at 406-390-5599

thanks
